Four different budgets
A serious plan separates media spend paid to Google, campaign setup, ongoing management, and the landing-page or tracking work needed to convert traffic. Combining them hides the economics.
The estimator on this site follows the same principle.
Start from capacity and value
Estimate the value of a qualified enquiry, close rate, gross margin and operational capacity. These numbers set a tolerable acquisition range more honestly than a competitor’s claimed spend.
If the business cannot follow up quickly, adding media budget may amplify waste.
Allow for learning
A campaign needs enough relevant volume to distinguish patterns, but “more data” does not justify unlimited spend. Use constrained tests with clear stop, learn and expand rules.
Highly competitive markets may require a research phase before a reliable forecast is possible.
Review quality, not just platform conversions
Import sales outcomes or at least classify lead quality. Optimising only to form fills can reward spam, wrong locations or low-value services.
Weekly decisions should explain what changed, why and what evidence will confirm the next move.
How this becomes a project
A useful next step is a short audit of your current pages, search footprint, proof and measurement. The output should identify the few constraints worth fixing before more content or media is added.
